Excellent angling can be had in Oyster Bay, the area is renowned for its excellent rock, surf and deep sea fishing.
Fish Species such as Elf (Shad), White Steenbras, Musselcrackers, Kabeljou (Kob), Blacktail (Dassie),
Galjoen, Leervis(Garrick) and many Shark species can be caught from rocks or beach and Deepsea fish ( we are working on a Launching site at Oyster Bay) includes Geelbek (Cape Salmon), Yellow Tail, Tuna, Hake, Kob, Stumpnose and Sharks.
Bait such as Red Bait, Mussels, Mullets and Musselworm can be collected- please make sure you have a valid Permit and only collect bait within your limits!!
Recreational Fishing Permits (at present R70.00 per year) can be obtained from any Post Office and permits must be on that person when Angling and PLEASE stick to the bag limits !!
