The unspoilt Village of Oyster Bay, lies near Cape St Francis and Jeffreys Bay on the Tsitsikamma Coastline at the start of the famous Garden Route in the Eastern Cape of South Africa.

Oyster Bay was established in the late 1950's by Karel and Febe van Tonder and slowly grew over the years into a family holiday resort with 6km golden beach, excellent fishing, reasonably safe swimming, very good Kite surfing and huge sand dunes for Sand Boarding.

The Village has a Shop ( selling essentials, good meat and soon Fuel), a 5 star Caravan Park, 2 Registered Guest Lodges, several B&B's , Holiday Rentals and 3 Estate Agents.

During the Summer Holidays we have a huge influx of Tourists and Holiday Makers at Oyster Bay
but the colder Winter months are quieter with often some of the best weather!!
